Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you visit cheapxapi.com, use the cheapxapi console or call the cheapxapi API. In this document, “cheapxapi”, “we” and “us” refer to the operator of those services, and “you” means the person using them. If you use cheapxapi on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that company.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

cheapxapi returns information that is publicly visible on X: public posts, public profiles and public follower relationships. It does not offer write actions, so it cannot publish, like, repost or follow on anyone’s behalf, and it never asks for your X password.

We do not provide direct messages, protected accounts or any other content that requires logging in to X. cheapxapi has no partnership or affiliation with X Corp., and X Corp. does not endorse or sponsor it.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
• The details you give us when you sign up must be accurate.
• Your API keys work like passwords. Store them securely and rotate a key as soon as you think it has leaked. Every request made with your key is billed to your account.

cheapxapi is prepaid. You top up your balance by card or cryptocurrency through our payment processors, and each billable request is deducted at the rate shown on the pricing page. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Purchased credits do not expire.

If we change our prices, the new rate will be published on the pricing page before it applies.

Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You agree not to use cheapxapi, or data obtained through it, to:

• harass, stalk, threaten, dox or intimidate any person;
• single out people based on sensitive characteristics such as health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political views;
• run spam, fake engagement or coordinated manipulation campaigns;
• try to obtain non-public data, get around our access controls or rate limits, or use someone else’s API key;
• disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer our systems;
• break any law, or infringe anyone else’s rights.

The service may not be used from, or for the benefit of anyone in, countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

You choose what to request and what to do with the results. Public posts and profiles can contain personal information about X users, so it is up to you to have a lawful basis for processing it and to follow the privacy and data protection laws that apply to you, as well as any platform rules that apply to your use.

We work to keep cheapxapi fast and available, but we cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Data on X changes constantly, and responses reflect what was publicly available when the request was made. We may add, change or retire endpoints and features, and we may take the service down briefly for maintenance.

You can stop using cheapxapi whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account, without advance notice where necessary, if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or if the law requires us to.

What happens to an unused balance is described in the Refund Policy.

The cheapxapi software, API design, documentation, website and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. They do not give you any rights in content published on X, which belongs to its authors.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

If a third party brings a claim against us because of how you used cheapxapi or the data you obtained through it, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the resulting losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees.

These terms evolve with the product. Check the “last updated” line for the current version. For significant changes we will also email account holders. If you keep using cheapxapi after a change takes effect, the revised terms apply.
